We have found in the time that we have been doing this, that all cities and what they require is different. The best way to find out is to call the city the property is located in and ask them what the requirements are.
How Much Does a Permit Cost and How Long Will it Take to Get it Approved?
This is another popular question. And the answer is pretty much the same as the questions above. The cost of a tree removal permit varies per city. Each city gets to designate the costs and what they actually charge for. Some only charge for the application, while others will charge for the application and for each tree being removed. As far as time frame, this can vary based on the number of applicants that have applied prior to yours. The city typically sends someone out to the property address to verify the information given and this process can take anywhere from one to four weeks.
