Mid Florida Tree Care went above and beyond my expectations. Jessica's communication was top-notch, and Ross took the time to explain thoroughly, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. They definitely exceeded my expectations. I will use them for all my tree services going forward. I highly recommend them for any tree-related needs.

UPDATE 09/08/2025: No change in my opinion. The team of individuals that worked in my yard yesterday were diligent in their efforts. The results are as if they weren’t even here. They left my yard absolutely clean. No debris was left in my yard. Addressing the team members is easy and comfortable. They all “have done this before!” The team obviously can perform the required technical operations using all of the necessary tools but just as important is the ability to take the aesthetic actions that result in a pleasing appearance. The primary motivation to trim the trees is to reduce the potential that a hurricane will knock down any tree. Most importantly however, is to reduce the potential of having, during a hurricane, a tree’s branches cause damage to property or to create a hazard on the roadways. I speak from experience when I say the proactive approach before a hurricane is a prudent decision when compared to the potential cost and damage after the hurricane. Thank you Mid Florida Tree Care. Please expect a call from me next year to consult on your advice to address further necessary / prudent actions. UPDATE 09/03/2024: I originally wrote that I would recommend Mid Florida Tree Care. It has been four years since then. No reservations whatsoever, my opinion has only been reinforced. The Wertz family is a wonderful family, their employees are efficient and effective and definitely experienced. Every year since I first used Mid Florida I have been more satisfied and confident in their performance. I mean technically and aesthetically. They clearly make the place better looking after they are finished. Everything looks so, so much better, you almost wouldn’t recognize that anything has even been done!? They leave no evidence of having been here to do anything. My only other recommendation would be to schedule early. You are not the first person who needs your trees trimmed and cut. All the others already agree with me! A big Thank You to Ross Wertz, family and team. It’s always a job that exceeds expectations. Not just how to manicure trees, but all the aspects of removing the undesirable effects of your neighbors trees, that are impinging onto your property. A quick call from you to politely advise your neighbor what’s happening, to his tree, that’s on your property. Well, my experience with Mid Florida Tree Care is that I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the results and, as far as the neighbors can see, no difference, no impact! Hallelujah!! Ross did everything he said he would, exactly how he said he would. From the delivery process of equipment, to the team involved, to all the necessary prep work in order to drive the equipment to the required location and the complete removal of all remnants of their work was all made clear with a subtle element of instilled confidence. The results are very professionally accomplished and the aesthetic presentation is, to a degree, as if nothing was dramatically done. I absolutely recommend Mid Florida Tree Care for tree trimming on your next project.

The owner took the time to review everything with me before both him and his crew started the project . Was so seamless and turned out 100% of my expectations. From the start, their team was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The original trimming was done efficiently, and they left the property clean and tidy, with the trees looking perfectly shaped and healthy. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. What really impressed me was how quickly they responded during an emergency situation. A heavy limb was hanging over the driveway, posing a serious risk — and they were quick to respond and safely removed it right away. We recently hired this Mid Florida Tree care to take down a large oak tree, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Ross and his crew were professional, efficient, and clearly very experienced. The climber was absolutely amazing—his skill and confidence handling such a massive tree were truly impressive. What really stood out was how smoothly the entire job went. Taking down a large oak is no small task, but they handled it with precision and care. After the tree was removed, the cleanup was immaculate—every branch, leaf, and bit of debris was gone, leaving the area spotless. If you’re looking for a team that knows exactly what they’re doing, especially with big jobs like a large oak tree removal, look no further. Excellent crew, fantastic service, and top-notch results. In spite of the rain these guys arrived on time, trimmed the trees, and did an excellent job cleaning up stray branches. Theres alot to be said about a company that does what they need to do and do it well in spite of the rain. This company is awesome!
