I've had numerous tree companies trim my trees over the years, and Mid Florida Tree Care was by far the most careful, meticulous and attentive to details. They had to work around my patio, fence, shed and garden. I won't call anyone else from here on. Definitely use this company. Update: I used Mid Florida Tree Care again in October 2024 to have a palm tree removed and stumps grinded, and they again did a great job.

Mid Florida Tree Care lifted and thinned 4 oaks of mine and removed a 5th and they did a fantastic job. They were on time and kept the area clean and clear as they worked and cleaned up everything after. Highly recommend them for your tree needs.

I can't even begin to share how incredible Mid Florida Tree Care was in addressing our tree removal needs during a very stressful post-hurricane moment. Not only did Jessica, Ross, and their crew provide very, VERY high quality service at a reasonable price, they did so in a very honest, kind, and utmost professional manner. While I have no doubt they were also under stress given the need to support customers while dealing with their own challenges brought about by Hurricane Helene, they were incredibly responsive and caring! As a woman who has had to deal with other companies during less stressful times, I can't thank them enough for modeling the kind of customer service that is so needed in this area and in these times. The job of trimming my (5) oak trees in my backyard was an extremely excellent job both in the trimming & clean up, also the Crape Myrtle trimmed and clean up was a Great Job well done. We will be contacting & using Mid Florida Tree Care in the future for our other needs. Thanks Again for the GREAT JOB!!!!!

UPDATE 09/03/2024:: I originally wrote that I would recommend Mid Florida Tree Care. It has been four years since then. No reservations whatsoever, my opinion has only been reinforced. The Wertz family is a wonderful family, their employees are efficient and effective and definitely experienced. Every year since I first used Mid Florida I have been more satisfied and confident in their performance. I mean technically and aesthetically. They clearly make the place better looking after they are finished. Everything looks so, so much better, you almost wouldn’t recognize that anything has even been done!? They leave no evidence of having been here to do anything. My only other recommendation would be to schedule early. You are not the first person who needs your trees trimmed and cut. All the others already agree with me! A big Thank You to Ross Wertz, family and team. It’s always a job that exceeds expectations. Rare, but true about you, reliable, dependable and extremely professional. Original: Ross Wertz, Owner, knows exactly what he is doing! Not just how to manicure trees, but all the aspects of removing the undesirable effects of your neighbors trees, that are impinging onto your property. A quick call from you to politely advise your neighbor what’s happening, to his tree, that’s on your property. Well, my experience with Mid Florida Tree Care is that I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the results and, as far as the neighbors can see, no difference, no impact! Hallelujah!! Ross did everything he said he would, exactly how he said he would. From the delivery process of equipment, to the team involved, to all the necessary prep work in order to drive the equipment to the required location and the complete removal of all remnants of their work was all made clear with a subtle element of instilled confidence. The results are very professionally accomplished and the aesthetic presentation is, to a degree, as if nothing was dramatically done. I absolutely recommend Mid Florida Tree Care for tree trimming on your next project.

The crew we had to trim our backyard Trees did a wonderful job. The tree Trimmer did a great job in trimming all trees. The other crew-members did a fantastic job with the cleaning up and debris removal. I recommend Mid Florida Tree Care to anyone. Mid Florida Tree Care has gone above and beyond taking care of our tree needs. At our home they have provided the services of palm tree trimming, tree removal and stump grinding. From the time talking to Jessica in the office until they clean up, we have nothing but high praises for their services.

Mid Florida is the best tree service I have used in my 30 years in Apopka. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate, were friendly, honest, and affordable. From the first communication with them until after the job was finished and beyond, they have shown a genuine commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. I am not the easiest person to work with, and the tree of greatest concern to me might easily have been written off as not worth saving. I so appreciate the patience shown to me throughout with all my indecisiveness and anxiety, and the door they have always kept open for questions and concerns. Ross and Jessica have been a real joy to work with, and Alex, too. His crew was there right on time, were friendly, courteous, and patient with me. They did the job well, left no mess in the yard, and were careful not to damage other plants or property. I would happily recommend them to others, and will use their services again, I'm sure.
